El Saltillo. Leuke wandeling van ruim 3 km naar een hangbrug. Met goede schoenen is het prima te doen. Nog even een stukje doorgelopen naar de waterval of wat daar in deze tijd van over is😃. Net genoeg om even je voeten te wassen. De route loopt deels langs het oude irrigatie systeem of wat er nog van over is. Je loopt langs de waterleiding die salinas van water voorziet. Bezoek aan het dorp is sowieso een aanrader.

Today I figured I could get to the heath faster via a different starting point without joining the queue of hikers. I managed it halfway. The approach is incredibly peaceful, with horses and Highland cattle the only living creatures around.
We still had to walk another 2 km to reach the beloved heathlands
