For me, the view from the Geisberg is the most beautiful in the Siebengebirge. Watching the sunset from up there was simply indescribably beautiful.

The 324 m high Geisberg is an elevation in the Siebengebirge near Königswinter.
The rather unassuming elevation lies between the Wolkenburg and the Lohrberg. The Rheinsteig long-distance hiking trail leads over the mountain.
In the summit area there is a wooden shelter at the viewpoint, the "Walter Guilleaume Hut". From the rest area, the view goes west to the Rhine. You can also see Bad Honnef and the Drachenfels.

A very nice view, but very well attended and therefore always very full. In April 2020 you have to watch out for hornets, unfortunately I cannot say whether the "plague" remains.
