In the Düsseldorf district of Unterbach, the observation tower at Elbsee is located in the triangle pond / Elbsee nature reserve on the southern bank of Lake Elbsee.
This steel observation tower was built in 1998.
It is 7.50 m high.
The association “Save our local recreation area Unterbacher See/Eller Forst” donated this observation tower to the city of Düsseldorf.
It was paid for by the donations and contributions of the club members.
31 steps lead up to the 13 square meter viewing platform.
From the viewing platform you have a beautiful view of Lake Elbsee and parts of the nature reserve.
