This place is simply a dream! You can swim there in the summer or just take a break. The climb is definitely worth it!

Lake Bergli is a must-visit. There are two ways up from Mathon (both are signposted): a very steep and a more moderate route. The steep route is really steep :-). But once you've made it, you'll be rewarded with an absolutely fantastic place.
The lake itself is a dream. There are several benches and barbecue areas, and a small stream flows through it. Below Lake Bergli is an alpine pasture (unserviced), where you can refill your water supply at a mountain spring.
