The enchanting refuge is located at 2,151 meters on a lake in which trout even swim. Hikers or bikers can reach the secluded hut on the Muttenalpe via the Paznaun from Ischgl. If you like, you can even spend the night up here.
If you come from Ischgl, you can tour gently uphill towards the northeast through forests and over wonderfully flowering meadows. Then it's a steep switchback to the hut.
