The Waldmax is THE excursion restaurant in the region. Located directly on the Young Dresdner Heide, it usually attracts the people from the city on the weekend.
For a stopover, you can settle down in the beer garden during the season.
In winter, I recommend the stove heated conservatory.

Nice excursion restaurant for a hike in the young heather with ice and cyclists. Ideally, you park at the Heidefriedhof and walk through the young heath to the Waldmax. At the weekend the parking lot at the Waldmax is full.
