The Kipphornaussicht is also one of the motives of the famous painter, Casper David Friedrich. Part of the well-developed and famous Malerweg, which served as a backdrop for some paintings by the painter, leads to the Kippfornaussicht. The view offers a great view of the Elbe Valley, which almost reminds us of one of the beautiful Norwegian fjords.

Currently the only real view you have on the way to the Great Winterberg. The lookout tower has closed, like the restaurant.
Otherwise, the way is sporty but through the forest with no great views.
It really only worth the cliff horn view.
I was a little disappointed afterwards. Sure, this one view is the Oberhammer.
But had hoped for a great prospect in the economy.

The Kipphorn viewpoint is a must if you are on the Winterbergstrasse. The short path to it branches off directly opposite the Müllerwiesenweg. From this viewpoint you have a view of all the table mountains and, if the visibility is good, you can see the high-rise buildings in Pirna on the Sonnenstein.

This beautiful vantage point is located halfway between Schmilka and the Großer Winterber. Well, you have to do a little dangling. But the 10 minute detour is worth it.
