If you find yourself a bit chilly in the cold season, I can highly recommend this staircase. Be careful, you might sweat a little! But it is a relatively easy staircase, so normal hikers should be able to manage it.

We used these stairs to descend. The dog managed them too. I'm only writing this because @Iriswandermuse has concerns about dogs here.

The view is magnificent and the descent adventurous. With dogs that have to walk themselves, it may be too much of a challenge, as the wooden ladders only have narrow rungs and gaps. There is hardly a way around it.
