The Church of Gury, Samon and Aviv was built in 1845. with funds from the townsman Gury Sintsov. It is a simple temple stylized as Old Russian architecture with one small dome, keel-shaped platbands, carved cornices and a beautiful light drum. Next to the temple is a mass grave of Karacharovo residents whose lives were taken by the plague in 1603. It contains an icon of Ilya Muromets with a particle of his relics. The icon was painted in 1992 by order of the Gushchin family.
