A very nice church in the middle of the old town houses. Behind the red sandstone portal, a modern glass entrance provides a view of the splendid Rococo decorations. The Augustinian Church in the middle of the old town remained almost intact during World War II and shows an extraordinary display of splendor in its original state for the region. The mendicant order of the Augustinian Hermits, which had been based in Augustinerstrasse since 1260, had a convent until 1802.
