From the "Kupferberg sparkling wine cellars" you don't see too much anymore apart from the very beautiful facade. The site has since been largely converted into an extremely attractive residential area, with the remains of the Roman city wall and gate being uncovered, among other things.

In 1850, Christian Adalbert Kupferberg founded the Kupferberg sparkling wine cellar in Laubenheim. As early as 1855, the winery moved to Mainz, on the Kästrich.
