Taylor Lake is a picturesque alpine lake located just off the Uinta Highline Trail, near the base of North Pole Pass. Nestled in a scenic basin it offers excellent fishing opportunities for several species of trout and greay camp spots along the treed edges of the lake. This is a popular first or last night for those completing the challenging thru-hike. When camping at Taylor Lake, it's essential to follow Leave No Trace principles to preserve the natural environment and pitch your tent and cook your food at least 200 feet away from the water.
