Crescent Lake and Fox Lake are two adjacent, picturesque alpine lakes nestled in Utah's High Uintas Wilderness along the Uinta Highline Trail. Situated near the interections of the UHT and the West-Fork Whiterocks Trail, these two lakes are situated at approximately 10,800 feet and are surroundd by creeks and smaller unnamed ponds. They both have robust populations of cutthroat and brook trout, making them popular spots with anglers. Crescent and Fox Lakes are also nice places to camp, but please follow LNT principles and camp at least 200 feet away from the water and trails.
