The Windeck (795 m) is the highest pass (no car road) in the Taunus - transition: Fuchstanz to Oberreifenberg. Here is also a cheap entry point for various cross-country skiing trails in the area of the Great and Little Feldberg. Bus stop and parking are located in the immediate vicinity.

Highest Taunus Pass! Sufficient parking spaces are available here on both sides of Hochtaunusstrasse. Also a bus stop. A good starting position for interesting ski tours to the Großer and Kleiner Feldberg, Altkönig, etc. 👌😎

The Großer Feldberg bus stop is an important hub for hikers and visitors to the Taunus. It is served by bus line 57 of the Hochtaunus Transport Association (VHT), which runs every 60 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and every two hours from Monday to Friday between Königstein and the Großer Feldberg.
