    The narrow path, which goes away to the south, quickly dissolves into pleasure and at some point you find yourself on the steep slope. Not a good idea. Stay on the main path here!

          The small Ley above Grube Anxbach is the perfect place to take a break and chill. Place of silence and enjoyment. Views are idyllic to spectacular, depending on the light and weather. Absolute must-do on the Westerwald Steig! There are hardly any nicer rest stops. No rubbish bin on site just the nice bench. So please take what you brought with you. Nature doesn't clean itself.

                  You can also get to Au via the Angsbacher Höhenweg, past the campsite to Ley. I was also surprised at how fantastically beautiful it is there. My recommendation is to look for the Weltendepfad.
                  The Westerwald is perfect for hiking.
