The Waldschlößchen Bridge, built to relieve the Dresden Neustadt and the neighboring bridges, crosses the Elbe floodplains at one of their widest points and is part of the Waldschlößchen Bridge traffic line with the connections of the bridgeheads to the road network - in the north with several tunnels - as well as the feeder roads that are to be expanded. In the season, you can also easily switch from the ERW to the bridge via the pedestrian stairs. Or you can drive briefly over one of the ramps at the ends of the bridge.
On the Neustadt side you can also use the towpath with your mountain bike. On the Old Town side you can use one of the Elbe meadow paths.
