The Kahle Mountain is 85 meters high. At the summit is a high transmission tower. A few meters next to it is a rest area with benches. Although it is called a lookout point, the forest is now too high to be overlooked. Through two straight pathways one has a very small section with a view.

The best starting point for a hike to Kahler Berg is the guest house in Motzen (tourist information). Parking is available in front of the house or at the village church in Motzen. From the guest house leads the beautiful circular walk, along the village church Motzen, past the historic elm and the Motzener lake to a quiet pine forest. Through the forest you reach the viewpoint on the Kahler Berg (85.7 m). There is a bench at the top, so that you can see the Motzener See here in suitable weather conditions and depending on the season (depending on the tree growth). The trail takes about 1.5 hours (3.9 km). Route marker: Green point
Condition: very good forest road, short section parallel to the main road through the village
