    On one side the Trave, on the other side the "Little Lagoon".
    From the towpath the ships were pulled long ago, e.g. of animals, but also of humans. Since the Trave has been straightened, the trail leads only partially along the original route.

            A tip for the starting point: 23658 Gothmund, Fischerweg 8. Once you have arrived there, there are parking spaces on the right.

                On this path (be careful when it's wet!) you can see yourself full of water. But I wouldn't recommend bathing, I'd rather leave that to the greylag geese and other waterfowl that come to rest here.
