The Hochpolgenerator Neumühl is a station of the coal, wind and water tour. It is located where an old grinding mill once stood, a location that is considered the oldest mill location in the district. You can visit the hydropower plant, but only after registration. Next door in Elsterstübchen there are freshly baked cakes and coffee.

The Neumühl high-pole generator was installed on the occasion of the EXPO 2000 in Hanover at the location of the old water mill. Neumühl is considered to be the oldest mill location in the Elbe-Elster district. If the Mühlgraben has enough water, then the high-pole generator produces 15 kWh.
