Signal Mountain and the near by South Signal Mountain are two peaks that are just above tree line on the far northeast corner of the Mummy Range. Signal Mountain is just fourteen feet higher than South Signal Mountain, at 11,262 feet above sea level. Signal Mountain offers great views of the Mummy Range and Rocky Mountain National Park. Signal Mountain in particular is also a great winter destination because there is little to no avalanche danger and unlike South Signal, there is no scrambling required to reach the top.
