In Plau am See, visitors can take a fascinating look at Germany's seventh largest lake from the new lookout tower. The lighthouse with a total height of 13.5m now welcomes all guests entering the Plauer See into the Müritz-Elde waterway. Visitors can climb the new tower from land and get a wonderful all-round view of the Plauer See, the Müritz-Elde waterway and the climatic health resort from the 8m high viewing platform. Access to the mole is via a bridge in front of the water police. The tower is open daily in summer and on weekends in winter.

The lighthouse is also a beautiful observation tower with a wonderful view of the lake. Total height 13m and the platform is 8m high. When in Plau it is a must.
