Really doable for everyone. You meet all kinds of cyclists on the mountain.
Meals are provided. Both at the kiosk and at small booths upstairs. A small playground for the little ones is also available.
Motorbikes are parked in the front area, and cyclists further back.

The Großer Feldberg (also Feldberg im Taunus, often simply Feldberg) is the highest mountain in the Taunus low mountain range in southwest Hesse and the entire Rhenish Slate Mountains. Depending on the source, its exact height ranges between 878 and 881.5 m above sea level (see the Mountain Height section).🚴‍♂️
With a prominence of 670 m (above the saddle near Großen-Buseck near Gießen) and a dominance of 101 km (over the Dammersfeldkuppe in the Rhön), it is one of the most striking low mountain range peaks in Germany.
The Feldberg massif, consisting of the Großer Feldberg and the nearby Kleiner Feldberg (825.2 m), is part of the Taunus main ridge (also called the Hoher Taunus or Hochtaunus).
Its outstanding height made the Großer Feldberg a testing ground for early German television technology from 1935 onwards. It is a popular winter sports area, but is losing its appeal for winter sports enthusiasts due to the increasingly frequent lack of snow. The mountain, whose uppermost area is unforested, is a popular tourist destination.
The Großer Feldberg rises in the Taunus Nature Park and in the Hochtaunuskreis district within the municipality of Niederreifenberg, which belongs to the municipality of Schmitten, whose core town lies north of the mountain. Oberursel lies to the east, Kronberg to the southeast, Königstein to the south, and Glashütten to the southwest. Just 1.4 km south-southwest is the Kleiner Feldberg, and 2.85 km southeast is the Altkönig (798.2 m).🚴‍♂️

The Große Feldberg is the highest peak in the Taunus Mountains at 878.5 meters and of the entire Rhine slate plateau. The mountain is located between Königstein im Taunus and the town of Schmitten.

At the top are a watchtower built in 1902 and a television tower from the Hessischer Rundfunk. The commercial radio station Hit Radio FFH broadcasts via this tower.

There are certainly more beautiful places than the built-up summit of the Hessian Feldberg, BUT of course you have a magnificent view in almost all directions, if you get a look between or over the trees. The climb is already neat, but feasible and then of course follows a great departure.
