Today was my birthday walk, very nice but also very tiring because the route from Posterstein to Schmölln was pretty dull, monotonous and mainly consisted of a cycle path and in such nice weather there were quite a lot of cyclists on the road and you had to be constantly careful not to get run over on foot. And there was actually no sign of or see of a water adventure trail. If it had rained, this might have been the water experience. 🤣 In Schmölln, for example, the Kneipp path was completely overgrown, unkempt and there was no sign of water. Absolutely not recommended. We then navigated the way back from Schmölln ourselves using the Komoot app and it was much more pleasant with lots of nature and no annoying cyclists and whining children.
