The memorial is located on the “Hermannsweg” on the Leedener Berg, in the middle of the forest. The monument carved into the mountain can be reached via a few steps. In memory of the fallen soldiers in World War II who came from the vicinity of this area.

Make a short detour to the memorial. Entering is at your own risk, as the steps are very irregular and of different heights. It is also a little scramble. Above, benches reward the effort and the beautifully designed plaque in the stone.

The memorial is located on the “Hermannsweg” on the Leedener Berg. From the L 589 (Herkenstrasse) to the street “Im Esch”, starting at the ascent Hermannsweg, the monument, which is worked into the mountain, is about 30 minutes' walk in the forest above a gorge. Outside the village and on the road there is no sign of the monument, only at the forest entrance of the Hermannsweg there is a small sign.
