A nice piece of nature. As Sidekick to the Hermannsweg, or various circular routes. Beautiful beech and oak stands, soft forest floor. Good views in any case only in really perfect weather. Pleasure house = pleasure path.

Totally great view to Osnabrück. And pleasure house refers to a stroll. A pastor would have liked to do this over 100 years ago and held his mass there so that he would be closer to God. So it has nothing to do with the pleasure houses of our time

From the summer house there is an unobstructed view of the city of the Peace of Westphalia, Osnabrück. It is worth taking a short break at the highest point in the city. The way there is crisp and steep, but worthwhile.
