The absolute highlight of this rock formation is the ridge path that leads directly over the top of the Höllwand (Hell Wall). This is an unofficial climbing route and not a marked hiking trail. The path rewards hikers with a magnificent, unobstructed view down into the Großer Dom (Great Cathedral) and fantastic panoramas across to the Schrammsteine and the freestanding Falkenstein.
