The Kamphütte is available to hikers from April to October for one night or to take a break.
There is space for about 10 people in the hut. There is a small fireplace, seating and a composting toilet outside.

You need trekking tickets (to be purchased in advance e.g. at Bad Schandau train station) worth 10 euros. The ticket is canceled on the day of the overnight stay by entering the date and thrown into a corresponding box.

You can stay overnight here if you have bought a trekking ticket in advance. I can confirm that the tickets are checked by the ranger in the evening.

It is particularly busy here from Friday to Saturday, a little less from Saturday to Sunday. If you want to spend the night in peace, it is better to do so during the week.

The hut is very well equipped. In addition to some designated sleeping places, you can also sleep in the attic and, if necessary, in the lounge/kitchen. In theory, there is sleeping space for more than 10 people. There is also a composting toilet (you have to bring your own toilet paper), and there are tables with metal plates for cooking with a camping stove. There is also water for use; you have to bring your own drinking water.

This is a great trekking hut, which was initiated by the Saxon Forest and is also maintained by this. Sleeps up to about 10 people available. Fireplace, hot water, modern composting toilet available.
