    Very well located hut as an alternative to the very full Martin Busch hut. Beautiful path from Vent, with a moderate climb and always accompanied by the sound of rushing water. At the top you can enjoy a beautiful view and an excellent lunch at a low price.

    If you still feel like going higher, you can leave your backpack there and climb to the "Im Hinteren Eis" summit in about an hour or from there start the descent to the spa town of Kurzras and take the bus to Merano.

          The best hut on the Ötztal Trek from Obergurgl to Vent! Very nice, young landlady and staff. Great food and plenty of it, lots of corners with power sockets and the shower works with 50 cent pieces. Cell phone reception is good, the Guslarespitze is easy to reach from here.
