Access to the Hocheck via the paved toll road in Furth starting, or from Thenneberg on forest roads / trails (moderate inclines / drops, but with lots of scree)

Totally beautiful mountain. not only the first 1000 from Vienna, like Dr. Dacklus wrote, but also the first "hill" that feels like a mountain.
At the top of the "summit" you can reward yourself with a 360 degree panoramic view.
