The Hirschsprung is really a highlight and the access to the Höllental, we didn't have the best weather on this tour, but in the end it was worth the visit because of the great view.

The "Hirschsprung" is a steep rocky outcrop on the right slope of the Höllental, below the "King David" viewpoint. On the diabase tower there is a wooden deer about to jump.
According to legend, during a margrave's hunt in 1756, a deer was chased and jumped off the ledge to escape the bullets. 🤩👍

The Hirschsprung (commented by Harald Schramm) is located (see also the source hochschwarzwald.de ...) in the Upper Black Forest! Between Freiburg and Hinterzarten, in the "Höllental" (probably mixed up by mistake),
**during this ! Hirschsprung, see also photos, also correctly commented by Mo in the Frankenwald nature park, impressively beautiful, also appears significantly higher on a rock above the Höllental in the Selbitz valley.
