The Maximilianswerk is a run-of-river power plant on the Auer Mühlbach in Munich. Stadtwerke München is the operator of the power plant. The Maximilianswerk is located just below the Maximiliansbrücke on the right bank of the Isar in the Maximiliansanlagen.

The Maximilianswerk is one of the oldest hydroelectric power stations in Bavaria still in operation. It began operations in 1895 after a year of construction. To avoid attracting attention near the Maximilianeum, Carl Hocheder built it in the style of a baroque garden or hunting lodge. The direct current generator connected to the Francis turbine delivered around 300 kW (660 V at 225 A) with a usable drop of 3.30 to 5.70 m and a water volume of between 8 and 15 m³/s.
