The Seegasse street leads from the Weinmarkt with an initial S-curve eastwards in the direction of Nuremberg. On the north side is the Protestant side church of St. Maria am See, also known as the Seekapelle. The representative group of houses with a dormer roof No. 9, 11, 13 was built by the city master builder Johann Michael Kraus. Together with the two-story gabled houses, they form a closed streetscape. On the north side, east of the small, square-like extension, there is a three-story row of houses on the eaves side. This is followed by the stately building of the Ochsenhof. The municipal gymnasium was built in 1890 in the area of the former sea gate.
