Between the highest point of Sadowastrasse and Weyerbuschweg in the east, a 700-meter-long tunnel was driven into the Nützenberg between 1877 and 1879 as the end point of the long-distance water pipeline coming from Benrath. Its end point on Sadowastrasse is representatively designed as a portal with spacious, side staircases and adorned with garden elements. Above it is a terrace, in front of it is the monument in memory of the first chairwoman of the Elberfeld Beautification Association.
