We spontaneously decided to go on a kayak tour in Giethoorn – and it was an unforgettable experience! The tranquil canals, the beautiful nature, and the peaceful atmosphere absolutely captivated us. The Netherlands has once again pleasantly surprised us.

Am Freitagabend traf ich mich mit zwei erfahrenen Radfahrern. Wir machten ein kleines Lagerfeuer, grillten Fleisch und Würstchen. Die Nacht war ungewöhnlich mild für die Jahreszeit, viel wärmer als erwartet. Am Morgen ging es gleich los – hinein in die Hügel der Eifel. Wie immer zeigte sich die Region von ihrer schönsten Seite: bunte Wälder, ruhige Dörfer und weite Ausblicke. In Bad Münstereifel gönnten wir uns ein Eis, bevor uns ein langer Anstieg erwartete. Ein schöner Tag mit guter Gesellschaft und der besonderen Stimmung der Eifel im Herbst.
