In December 2007, the Christkindl Trail was created in Boží Dar as a complement to the Christkindl Post Office. It is intended to not only introduce young hikers to the biblical story at a total of 13 uniformly designed stations in small wooden houses and with numerous carved figures along the way, but also simply provide fun with many other ghost sculptures and cartoon characters.

The Christkindlweg is a popular nature trail in the Ore Mountains that leads around the town of Boží Dar (Gottesgab) at an altitude of 1,028 meters. The target group is mainly small and large children. The nature trail is divided into two routes, which place different demands on physical condition. The entire route measures 12.9 km, the shorter one measures 5.6 km. Both routes are open all year round, in summer you can go on foot or by bike, in winter on cross-country skis.

Many children and maybe even their parents will not know that the Christ child has his home in Boží Dar and also does his post here. The best thing about it is that the children don't have to wait for Christmas and can "meet" with the Santa Claus in several places throughout the year. You can follow in the footsteps of the Christ Child. After completing the Christkindweg, they receive small gifts. You can also place your wishes in the Christkindpost all year round.

The Christkindweg is full of entertainment and tasks for both small and older children, who can choose to go the full (12.9 km long) or shortened (5.6 km) path. On the way they fulfill different tasks, which they write down or draw on the card they picked up beforehand at the Boží Dar information centre. The fee for the Santa Claus notebook is 50, - CZK. All funds will be used exclusively to fully repair, clean and maintain Santa Claus Way and to buy a small gift to visitors. There they will also receive small gifts after handing in the completed card. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to your visit.
