The Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Steg is a bridge between the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus and the Paul-Löbe-Haus. The upper bridge is also popularly known as the "civil servants' career path".

Anyone wanting to go from the Paul Löbe House to the Marie-Elisabeth Lüders House should not be afraid of heights. The two buildings are connected by a bridge that offers an impressive view of the parliamentary district from a lofty height.

The building, which was built according to plans by the architect Stephan Braunfels[2], who also designed the two parliamentary buildings, does not have an official name. The name used nonetheless derives from the government building to which the bridge is attached. Strictly speaking, it is a double bridge, the lower part of which spans the Spree in a gentle curve and is attached to the horizontal steel framework in the middle by two tension anchors.
