Shortly after the underpass under the A42, it goes on byways and roads to the inner harbor. At the edge of the road there are sports fields and old train tracks as well as tracks that are still in operation. The bridge landscape under the marshalling yard is also worth seeing.

There is a boules pitch at the eastern end of the inner harbor promenade. It's partly covered in moss, but still worth playing.

Beautiful connection between the inner harbor and Obermeiderich. Leads past an allotment garden on one side and the training grounds of a club for hockey and football, among other things, on the other.
