The wooden house has fine decorations on the roof gable and painted signs underneath. It stands right next to the beehives and is certainly used by the beekeepers as a place to celebrate.

The Burgenweg - the cultural-historical hiking trail - leads on its western route, among other things. past the moated castle in Mitwitz and to the Heunischenburg from the Urnfield period.
With two different routes, the Castle Trail runs from Lauenstein at the northernmost end of the Franconian Forest to Plassenburg in Kulmbach.
The eastern route leads from Lauenstein Castle via Ebersdorf, Ludwigsstadt, the Lauenhainer Höhe, Haßlach near Teuschnitz, Teuschnitz, Marienroth, Posseck and Glosberg to the thousand-year-old town of Kronach.
We are accompanied by the Frankenwald Steig, which was newly created in 2015.
