This impressive work of civil engineering, dating from 1931, joins the Royal Palace with the Vistillas. Due to its location on the slope that descends from Calle Bailén towards the Manzanares River, it offers magnificent views of the west of the city and the Casa de Campo.

The Segovia Viaduct is a viaduct in the La Latina district of Madrid, Spain. The area has been an important hub for several centuries. The main function of the bridge was to facilitate access between the city and the Royal Palace of Madrid. A later version was built in 1934 to replace the previous iron bridge built in 1874.
The current one is the result of many restorations to meet the growing traffic demand. It spans the Segovia street 25 meters below, from which it takes its name, although popularly known as "El Viaducto".
