Here, hikers can enjoy the beautiful view of the Langenautal Valley and far beyond. A bench and a shelter invite you to linger. The Kämmleinsfelsen rock is accessible via the marked hiking trails DÖ 94 (Auf Jägersteigen), DÖ 97 (Säuerlings-Weg), and the Lotharheiler Runde of the Geroldsgrün Geotrail.

What I don't understand is why the DÖ 94 doesn't follow the beautiful unmarked hiking trail downhill from the Kämmleinsfelsen, but instead uses the forest path further up from the hut. It's shorter, but also more boring.
==> my tip: definitely try the unmarked Steigla.
Otherwise, the DÖ94 (on Jägersteigen) is a wonderful hiking trail and highly recommended. The best place to start is down in the valley in what used to be Langenau.

The way here is great. And when you get here, you will be rewarded with a great view. There are also benches and a small hut where you can take a good break.
