The smallest wooden church in Germany (5 x 11 meters) has been renovated from the outside since the beginning of April 2022. A committed development association takes care of the construction issues, the evangelical church community from Elbingerode (misery belongs to the Elbingerode parish) to the sanitation of the soul.

Incidentally, the church does not belong to the parish at all, but the poor built the building on their own initiative at the end of the 19th century.
