Dybvadbro was the first station on the route between Kolding and Troldhede. The line was built from 1913 to 1917 and, at almost 100 kilometers, was Denmark's longest private railway line.

The Troldhedebahn had a healthy economy in the first few years, but declined from 1924. During the Second World War, the railroad made a good profit again, mainly because of the extensive transport of lignite. After the war the deficit rose again.

On March 31, 1968, the last train ran on the route. Today, many people run, cycle or ride on the 10 km long railway path between Kolding and Ferup every day.

Dybvadbro train station today.

Dybvadbro station offers protection from the weather in the old waiting room. Enjoy the packed lunch at the tables and benches in the garden or visit the exhibition in the old warehouse.
