The districts of Raden (since 1939) and Gosda II (since 1973) belong to Preschen. Coming from Döbern you first reach Gosda and then Preschen. There is a memorial stone along the route that commemorates the fallen writer Hermann Löns. The area around Preschen is characterized by a diverse flora. Extensive areas have been placed under nature protection. An example is the "Preschener Mühlbusch" with its ferrous springs and numerous bird and game species - a popular hiking destination. Worth seeing is the church, which is an unplastered field stone building. Hiking trails lead to Raden with the interesting natural monument "Radener Berge" and the oldest residential building in the area, the "Felsenkeller".
