After almost a year of reconstruction, the Rakotz Grotto in the Kromlau Landscape Park was completely restored in May 2020. In addition to the Anthea figure, the Hercules sculpture is back in its place, parts of which were discovered during restoration work on the cave that collapsed decades ago. The grotto is said to have collapsed as early as 1952. The consequences had threatened the basalt Rakotz Bridge.

In addition to the Rakotzbrücke, the basalt organ is one of the most famous structures in the lake. Usually the basalt organ is found in the wild nature. These natural wonders were created by volcanic activity. Some up to 30 meters high. At the Rakotzsee they are artificially created and much more delicate.
