Beautiful path along the Mosbachalp. You can switch sides over beautiful wooden bridges. At the end of the gorge, stop at the Klugschen Mühle.

A nice quiet and easy walk along a stream. There is a large parking lot near the head of the trail. This is really nice on a week day or early on the weekend.

Beautiful valley with lots of rocks along a stream from which there are many stairs. The whole thing seems a bit like an enchanted gorge.
Highly frequented on weekends, a visit during the week is worthwhile.

The Karlstal is one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in the Palatinate Forest - perhaps even the most beautiful hiking kilometer in the Palatinate Forest. The path leads directly along the stream, changes here and there over a wooden bridge from one side to the other and benches invite you to linger. A small wooden pavilion stands in the middle of the gorge, is a popular photo opportunity and a place where you can really enjoy the torrent atmosphere.

The "Karlstal" is located near Trippstadt in the district of Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate.
- nature reserve
- There is a path right by the stream
- "created around 1790
- designed by Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell, (master gardener)
- was an extension of the Trippstadt palace garden into a landscape park in the English style
- In 1862 King Ludwig I of Bavaria, Grand Duke Ludwig III of Hesse and Archduchess Hildegard of Austria visited (a black plaque commemorates the visit)
