The Holy Cross Church in Loffenau is a neo-Gothic church from 1843.
Particularly interesting is the preserved medieval tower choir with its more than 500 years old Freksen. Among them one of the few remaining depictions of the late medieval legend about the mill of the Hosts.
Well worth a look, if you are traveling in the city.

Not only the old frescoes under the tower, but also the rest of the church is worth seeing. The stained glass windows and blue altar choir vault are must-sees in the sunshine. The organ was restored in 2004 and sounds again in the original version with its romantic sound like about 150 years ago.
