It is fantastically beautiful here in the upper Gaistal with the meadows and the panorama of the mountains of the northern Black Forest. At the edge of the forest on the southern edge of the meadow area there are a few benches (in the shade) with a great view over the meadow areas.

At the restaurant the bus stop "Gaistal Talwiese". There at the refuge advertising to actually recommendable wild cat path, which leads here and on the benches (at the edge of the forest) past. Line 116 from Bad Herrenalb also runs on weekends. It takes 20 minutes to drive from the train station. kvv.de/index.html

The "Tierbuslinie stop" offers a successful end to the wildcat adventure trail! In addition to a nicely painted picture (nice photo motif for kids) there is also some written information about the life of the wildcats and a solar powered listening station where two funny radio plays from the animal kingdom can be listened to! 🤓
