Wilderness is possible almost everywhere. When people withdraw, nature takes over – even in the middle of a big city. What emerges are unusual images of the urban landscape.
No one can predict exactly how nature will develop in the midst of a man-made environment. In the “Cities Dare Wilderness” project, Hanover, Frankfurt am Main and Dessau-Roßlau rose to the challenge and dared more wilderness together. Our project was funded by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation with funds from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
