The tennis facility in the valley area was repeatedly expanded to the southwest in the second half of the 20th century towards the paddling pool. The last major redesign of the paddling pool area took place as part of a local implementation of "Agenda 21" and was completed in 2001. This also included the stream that now follows up to
Paddling pool redesigned. In places, the course of the stream was newly enclosed in jointed stone walls.

While the Itze was initially piped up again after the next 30 m until the redesign and the last 65 m to the paddling pool ran underground, it now runs above ground for the entire route, crosses the path under a bridge and is in front of it for the last few meters Mouth into the paddling pool wider. Only when the brook swells due to damming or after rainfall does it not only flow through its newer open course but also again via the older piped section, which thus functions as an overflow relief section.

The paddling pool itself has an area of over 4,000 m² since the redesign.
The Clavenholter125 Mühle126, which was driven by the stream called Mühlenbach at the time, used to stand on today's paddling pool area. The mill was later called Graupenmühle; accordingly, the ponds, where the paddling pool is located today, were called Graupenmüller ponds at that time.
