The Campanile di San Marco is the magnificent bell tower of the Basilica di San Marco. It is therefore located in Piazza San Marco and its almost one hundred meters high make it the tallest building in Venice, offering impressive panoramic views to visitors who dare to climb its interior steps. And it is undeniably that the best photographs will be obtained from this point. Not in vain, in addition to being the bell tower of the cathedral, it served as a lighthouse for navigators. The structure with which we know it today dates back to the beginning of the 16th century, despite the fact that at the beginning of the 20th century it collapsed and had to be rebuilt.

St. Mark's Campanile in Venice is one of the city's most recognizable symbols, after the gondolas and the canals. At 98.6 meters high, it offers an incredible panoramic view of the entire city.

Climbing the Venice Campanile is a worthwhile experience, especially on a clear, sunny day. Although there may be long lines during peak season, the 12 euro entry fee allows you to explore the tower for as long as you like. So you can take all the photos you want and enjoy Venice from above! 😊
